TANDEM supplies high quality billet to aluminum extruders and forgers. Alloys are produced in diameters ranging from 3.5 inches to 43 inches. Additionally, TANDEM has the capability to provide high quality sheet ingot. Complete traceability of all elements is maintained throughout all phases of the process.
From charging furnaces through the casting, homogenizing, scalping and cutting, our entire facility is state-of-the-art. All molten metal passes through our patented degassing process which maintains very low hydrogen levels. In conjunction with a ceramic foam filter, metal cleanliness is exceptional. Additionally, using the most advanced instruments, hydrogen and molten metal cleanliness are closely monitored.
All TANDEM scalped product is 100% ultrasonically inspected to ensure that only the finest quality is shipped. With capacity approaching 10 million pounds per month, and the wide range of alloys and diameters, TANDEM has achieved and maintained a global market for aluminum billet and forge stock.
